Building and Grounds (Chair),
Worship (Liaison), Mission

How long have you been a member at CSPC? Why did you join? My family and I started attending CSPC in late summer of 1998. We were looking for a church home where we could participate and grow our faith. We joined in 1999.

What is your favorite memory at CSPC? This question is far too difficult for me to answer. I have so many great memories–10 plus years of Men’s fellowship on Saturday mornings, 15 plus years of Men’s Softball games, and serving on 3 Pastoral Nominating Committees (ok, honestly I don’t know that this is a favorite memory but I sure like the results from the last PNC). Still I would say my favorite is the fact that both my daughters have been married here and 5 of my grandkids have been baptized here–soon to be six!

What is one thing CSPC is doing that you are excited about? It would have to be our focus on Mission and how we are making a difference in our community.

What committee do you serve on, and what is it doing to build up CSPC as the body of Christ? With Building and Grounds, we continue to maintain the church property and continue to work to provide a great facility to enrich our worship and community. With Mission committee, we work on a regular basis to look for and participate in opportunities to help our fellow humans.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Hobbies, etc? I enjoy sports of all sorts. I enjoy playing and watching. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and of course my wife Nancy.

What does it mean to you to be an elder? For me the opportunity to serve as an Elder is my way to be active and live my faith in a positive way. I believe that God wants us to be in service to others.

Other than Presbyterian, have you spent time in other faith traditions? I was raised Roman Catholic. I believe my upbringing and teaching by my mother made me appreciate my faith and allow me to seek out how best to serve God.

What is one hope you have for CSPC in the future? I hope that we somehow can get the word out to more folks what a great place CSPC is to be part of. I feel that we are headed in that direction.

Bonus! Pastor’s Bragging Rights: Tim is salt of the earth, always there to pitch in for the church, whether he’s cleaning bats out of the walls, serving as liturgist, or thirty feet up on a ladder to change a lightbulb. His deep and steady faith is a blessing to the Session, as is his sly sense of humor. Thanks be to God for Tim!
