Class of 2019
Personnel (Chair)

How long have you been a member at CSPC? Why did you join? My family and I have been members at CSPC for over 20 years. We moved here from Memphis, TN where we attended a small Presbyterian church. CSPC has been a wonderful fit for us. We joined because I liked the feeling of belonging that the CSPC family gave us.

What committee do you serve on, and what is it doing to build up CSPC as the body of Christ? I have served on all of the committees here at CSPC. Currently, I am serving as chair of the personnel committee. I think serving is both an obligation and a privilege. Working with team to make CSPC stronger is rewarding as well as a big responsibility.

Tell me about a place where you feel close to God. I feel close to God when I am out in nature, with others, and even at work. To see the wonderful and complex things that he has created is awe-inspiring.

Other than Presbyterian, have you spent time in other faith traditions? I attended and was baptized in an Assembly of God Church when I was young.

What is your favorite memory at CSPC? My favorite memory was when we joined the church. All four of our boys were baptized at that time. From the reaction of the congregation, I think it was quite entertaining. JD was two years old at the time and proclaimed very loudly “I do!”

Bonus! Pastor’s Bragging Rights: Stephanie is an invaluable member of this congregation and of session. Her warmth, her selfless faith, and her wisdom are a blessing to our discussions. Plus, she’s been known to show up to committee meetings with cookies!
