Green Tips: Plastic Free July Tips

June 24, 2025 Blog No Comments

“The Lord God took man and put him in the Garden of Eden to till it and keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)

Wanting to try a Plastic Free July? Here are a few tips to reduce your plastic usage.

1.       BYO (bring your own) water bottle, straw, coffee mug, reusable utensils, produce and shopping bags, and containers for restaurant leftovers.

2.       Use bar soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and toothpaste tablets.

3.       Use plastic-free dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and household cleaners. Or visit a refillery like Simply Zero 1235 Vine Street, Cincinnati or Lierer’s Market 4170 Hamilton Av, Cincinnati

4.       Use reusable bags or jars instead of plastic bags, and beeswax wraps instead of plastic wrap.
