Green Tips: Greener Dining

July 1, 2024 Blog No Comments

“For in him all things in heaven and earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers — all things have been created through him and for him.”  (Colossians 1:16)

When you are dining out or carrying out food from restaurants, here are a few tips:

Say no to straws or bring your own reusable straw.  Straws and other plastic products contribute to environmental pollution and can even end up polluting the ocean and harming marine life.

Consider bringing your own reusable containers for any leftovers, and bring your own reusable bag to take it home in.

When ordering food to take home to eat, say no to plastic utensils, paper napkins, and individual condiment packets.  You already have all that stuff at home!
