Sunday worship services at CSPC
include prayer, scripture reading, music, and a
sermon based upon scripture. Children are encouraged to
participate through our
regular children's sermon. We also share a time of
offering, prayer and community
concerns, and the Sacraments. Our worship is typically
ordered in terms of five major
actions centered in the word of God: gathering for
worship, hearing God’s word,
responding to God’s word, sealing the word, and scattering
to serve God.
We currently have one service time, 9:30 AM. Our worship
service is a blending service combining traditional and
contemporary elements, such as liturgy, Praise Band, Choir
and Hymnals.
At CSPC we are pleased to have infants and young children
present during worship
service. Should those little ones need a break, our
nursery is available during worship
services. We also have a cry room near the entrance to the
sanctuary for use during
worship service. Our nursery is also available during
Sunday school beginning at
8:30 AM.
Praising God through music and song is an essential part
of our
worship. Members of our CSPC family share their musical
gifts
through participation in our adult and Goldsparks youth
choirs,
praise band, and as part of our handbell choir. We also
have
invite members to share their talents through occasional
voice or
instrumental performances.
You and your family are invited to participate in CSPC's
music program. For information on rehearsal
times please contact the Music
Director, Becky Morrison, or
check the church calendar.
