As God's people we are called to serve. The ways we serve are as varied as the members of our congregational family. CSPC is the product of the contributions of it's members.  The church relies on the effort of it's members for all of it's functions.  There are several ongoing committees on which you can serve.  Our service may also be tithing to support our church and our mission work, donating food and clothing for local families in need, participating in a walk-a-thon for the homeless, spreading God's Word, serving as liturgist, volunteering time at a food bank, serving the meal at IHN or the Northern Kentucky Cold Shelter, or giving of our time and talents to help needy people around the world. Look through the links below to see where you can help serve those in need. Even if you are not sure where you would like to serve, but want to help, you can fill out the Time and Talents Survey and someone can help you find your niche.

Service within our Community

Church Pantry - Throughout the year we help many families in the Crescent Springs and Villa Hills area through our food pantry. Beginning in the fall, members of the congregation bring canned goods and nonperishable food items. Food baskets are later assembled and distributed to local families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Family Resource Center at River Ridge - FRC has been created as part of the Kentucky Educational Reform Act. The intent of the centers is to enhance the student's ability to succeed in school by assisting children, youth and families in meeting some of their basic needs. CSPC members donate clothing and school supplies to the center and the Mission Committee works with the FRC to provide additional help to families with other needs.

Interfaith Hospitality Network - IHN of Northern Kentucky provides emergency shelter, meals, and other assistance to families through a network of local churches and volunteers from their congregations. IHN provides shelter for up to five families/14 persons per night (up to 30 days) and provides a family day center to assist families with housing, employment and other resources. There are 9 host churches and 22 supporting churches. Crescent Springs Presbyterian Church is a supporting church to St. Agnes. CSPC members help by serving as dinner hosts, cooks, and providing other help on our evenings at St. Agnes.

Welcome House - Welcome House of Northern Kentucky is a non-profit agency that assists individuals and families who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Services include emergency assistance, emergency shelter, job training, family case management, and financial and budgetary case management service to individuals who are mentally and/or physically disabled. CSPC supports Welcome House by providing regular financial donations and by participation in fund raising efforts.
