Our family at Crescent Springs
Presbyterian Church believes it is our calling and
privilege to support one another in prayer. Below are some
ways we support and serve each other.
Members of the congregation request special prayers for
loved ones, neighbors, coworkers, teachers, and friends
during worship service, by email, or through the pastor.
These prayers are added to the "Prayer Partners" weekly
prayer concerns. If you would like to have a special
prayer added please send an
email or
call the church office and your prayer will be included.
If you would like to receive the weekly prayer concerns by
email please contact Janet Stadtmiller.
CSPC men meet on Saturday mornings at 8 am at church for
breakfast, prayer, and fellowship. Contact Tim Reed for
more info.
For those members of our congregation that are unable to
attend worship service, the pastor makes regular visits to
their homes to share prayer and provide communion.
CSPC's Covenant Group program provides a way to build a
stronger tie to your church by becoming more involved with
people and, as a result, getting to know them better.
Several Covenant groups have been established that meet
regularly with their group to talk together, pray
together, study together and grow together. It is a
wonderful way to share and learn from each other and to
grow stronger in your Christian life. For more information
or to join a Covenant Group, contact one of the Deacons or
call the church office.
Lectio Divina is an ancient spiritual discipline which is
literally "praying the Scriptures." For people who enjoy
words and reading this is a deep contemplation of the
Canon text by listening, and praying in silence for an
extended time. The Lectio group at CSPC began with a few
people who wanted to commit to a regular schedule of
practicing this discipline together. We meet in a quiet
area of the church building for an hour or less on a
regular basis. We welcome any who want to join us.
